Bundling Up Without the Bulky Look!

Now that the weather is getting more bitter and "Jack Frost" is LITERALLY nipping at our nose.  One of the most effective ways to bundle up for these New York Citystreets and yet look fashionable at work,  is to pull out your warm sweaters and key winter accessories. I have put together an easy standout look that will welcome your co-workers and friends compliments  as you work maintaining your fashionista style! I hope you enjoyed this quick winter tip!

Layering with a Statement Jacket!

Fall is definitely here! Some days the weather is really nice and a light jacket is all you need. While others days,  I feel as if Winter is standing right at my door step saying "Ready or not here I come!" I'm not quite ready for you yet Winter. However, Fall I do love!  It is a wonderful time of year to show great styling with warm layers.

During the summer, I bought this really cool geometric pattern jacket. When I first saw it, it screamed my name and I had to buy it! It was definitely a must have! The pattern of the jacket was visually pleasing; making it a great statement piece for my wardrobe.

Since this was a lighter jacket, I knew it would be apart of an outfit as a layering component. I used the jacket over a white and blue knit sweater paired with a light brown scarf to compliment the gold of my hand bag.

If you have articles of clothing that you love wearing but can't anymore because they are out of season. Think again! You can definitely still wear them! This jacket is pretty light weight even for the fall season. However, if you wear these article of clothing as layering pieces, you can extend the lifetime of its wear-ability.

Try wearing some of the articles of clothing your own during off seasons. It just takes a little bit of cleverness with some creativity to get more wears out of them! Thanks for reading!

I'm Feeling Richie Rich!

Hey! I know that summer is officially over, but it doesn't mean I have to completely let go of it yet! The sun is shining bright and it's still hot as hell somewhere in the world! If the weather I'm describing applies to where you are... trying this look is a MUST! This look is apart of the Forever21 and Dream Work Classic collaboration with Alec Monopoly to bring exclusive clothing pieces that were released over this past summer. This look, like my previous post, incorporated another favorite cartoon character from my childhood ...Richie Rich. The playfulness of this look absolutely captured the boldness and creativity of my personality. Never Fear..Underdog is Here!

Forever 21 and Dream Works Classic collaborated with Alec Monopoly, an American Graffiti Artist to create an exclusive limited edition men's and woman's collection. Today, I am showcasing how I styled my never fear... underdog is here tee. Underdog was actually one of my go to cartoons when I was younger. So I was absolutely excited to purchase this shirt when I saw that Alec had it as part of his collection. Check my easy going look with this tee.
